Surface Pattern Design

      My interest in surface pattern design started years ago, quite unexpectedly, when I stumbled upon a print on demand website. Back then, I was exploring ways to share my art with the world. I uploaded a few of my illustrations, but without knowing much about pattern design, I didn’t find success, so I ditched the idea and went back to painting. Painting was and still is a big part of who I am, but over time, life took me in another direction.

         Like many artists, I had to step away from my creative path for a while. I got a 'real' job, and even though it offered stability, something in me felt incomplete. Each day away from painting felt like a small loss. I knew art was where I truly belonged, but I didn’t have the time or energy to nurture it.

         Fast forward to today, a new chance arose to give my art career another shot. When I discovered my old account on that website I mentioned earlier had been closed, I didn’t feel discouraged. Instead, it motivated me to try again and today it is a reminder of how far I’d come and how much I’ve grown since those first attempts. I decided to give it my full attention in learning the craft of surface pattern design - and I love it.

      Creating patterns has become one of my biggest passions. I especially love working with botanical motifs, inspired from nature’s beauty. You’ll most often find my designs blooming with leaves, animals, flowers, and organic shapes. Each of these pieces reflect a story written by nature.

       While I’m still building my presence online. I’m proud of how much I’ve learned and how my art continues to evolve. My dream is to keep growing, connect with people who love nature-inspired art as much as I do, and one day make this passion of mine my full-time.
